While not a traditional RPG, TerraZone: Shoot for the Stars will still have Sky collecting items to store for key events and potentially other functions in the future.
We’ve once again managed to recycle certain elements from the original menu. The navy blue selection box will remain a constant theme through most of the menus in the game. Our item list itself contains item groups that display both an item name, as well as the quantity of that item you hold. A scrollbar was also created by building a simple vector rectangle and rotating it. The bar itself scales to the amount of elements in the list, and is invisible if the elements don’t fill more than the page.
When an item is highlighted, the information about the item is displayed below the list. The description will display an icon which represents the type of item it is, as well as an actual text description of said item. Finally our friend Shikaku paints us a lovely image of what the item itself looks like on his canvas.
